In 1898, Max Blumberg established a glass factory in New York. His son Jack, founded FINE ART LAMPS in 1941. The Company has a long tradition of fine craftsmanship and artistry, and the name FINE ART LAMPS was intended to emphasize this from the start.
Good design remains the core of the Fine Art Lamps mission statement. All designs are developed in-house with a team of over thirty design and development specialists. The company has won many design awards and has been honored as Lamp Manufacturer of the Year for the United States for an unprecedented seven of the last fifteen years, receiving the prestigious ARTS Award in 1991, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1999, 2001, and 2002. In 2005, Fine Art Lamps added to its honors by winning the ARTS Award for lighting Fixture Manufacturer of the Year.
