Aveburn armchair seen in a charcoal wash is a replica of a country chair from the 1790s. This delightful piece is steeped in classicism and has been carefully crafted with a rush seat. Great for dining or using in halls, kitchens or even, as I do, a bedroom. (Old salescode: 530002-CW-AC)
Aveburn side chair seen in a natural fruitwood is a replica of a country chair from the 1790s. This delightful piece is steeped in classicism and has been carefully crafted with a rush seat. Great for dining or using in halls, kitchens or even, as I do, a bedroom. (Old salescode: 530002-GFA-SC)
The Coniger upholstered occasional chair has a mid century almost Scandinavian feel to it. A great small armchair that works in city apartments or modern country houses. I use mine alongside other mid century inspired pieces. (Old salescode: 530006)
Gunby dining armchair is smart comfortable and taken from one in my collection purported to be by Mr Hepplewhite! Gunby has a delightful shaped back and smart hand carved legs. To me it's the perfect dining chair from which to enjoy a perfect dinner and some great claret! (Old salescode: 530010-GFX-AC)

Eden console table from George III period has lived in our hall at home for as long as I can remember. With a great clawed foot and perfect proportions it can easily be put behind a smart sofa and used as a drinks table. Made from oak and finished either in an ebonised finish or a limed rubbed effect and topped with marble the Eden table is to my mind quite perfect. (Old salescode: 530011-DO)
The Purbeck coffee table was the brainchild of my friend Jon. How difficult it still seems to be to find a good rugged rustic coffee table! Ok I thought let's make our Purbeck table fit the bill; so we did, and very successfully too! (Old salescode: 530014)
The Tormarton three tier end table is probably one of the first pieces I ever bought for my house! This table works in almost every situation; by the bed, by the sofa, by the chair and as a great lamp table next to my library chimneypiece. Shown here in grey fruitwood with the drawer lined in our signature polka dot, the Tormarton table really looks the part. (Old salescode: 530015-GFX)
My Yarne table in charcoal wash has been a firm favourite for as long as I can remember! I lent it to my brother who lives in a house on the coast and it looks so well there. I have modernised the drawer interior by lining it in our signature woad coloured polka dot. (Old salescode: 530019-CW)
Allerdale is an imaginary place of my childhood where we played our lives of make believe. I was always planning to make things for the house and this delightful console was one of the first things I ever bought. I adore the scalloped edge and the slight whimsy of the piece. (Old salescode: 530022-GFX)
The original Longwood table is made of 19th century mahogany and sits at a window in my gothic country house. The detail is a masterstroke and the proportion sublime. I love it so much that now we have developed an expanding version on which to take supper.
My Artaross console, which we have made in both grey crotch mahogany and greyed oak, has drawers lined in my signature grey polka dot marquetry. This table has been utterly and totally invented! Given my fancy for the gothic, it seemed amusing to make a console table for our dining room that could work alongside the Longwood dining table.
Strathraven was a house where an old aunt lived years ago and in it she had bobbin furniture that had been clumsily ebonised. I remembered a bedroom where I used to sleep and thought it would be fun to do my version of it complete with polka dot drawer linings made by hand of marquetry. (Old salescode: 530030)

Our Flyde console is a magnificent example of mid 19th century piece masquerading as its 18th century original. In an ebonised mahogany finish, topped with a lovely slab of carrara marble, this piece with its carved foot is both elegant and practical. (Old salescode: 530052)
The Lacock dining table, which I have taken from a table with a small occasional base, happily seats ten. Its scroll foot and book-matched veneered top, finished in washed oak with touches of gilt, makes it the enviable combination of smart and grand, but not traditional. (Old salescode: 530054-70D)
A beautiful tall stick stand that will carry copius amounts of walikng sticks and umbrellas. Beautiful marquetary work to the base and carefully hand applied brasswork all tied together with brass wire then patinated makes this Rossett stand the perfect accessory for any hall or lobby. (Old salescode: 530080)
The Kingsley arm and side chair were bought at a sale in Ireland some twenty years ago and originally made in an almost black mahogany. Seen here in a much warmer fruitwood, the chair will look well in both formal and slightly more casual dining rooms. The unusual gothic back is of particular interest as it is both decorative and extremely comfortable. (Old salescode: 530082-SC)
As the Belton chair is so good for the library, so good for the drawing room and so good for the bedroom why not use it in the bar! Buxton is multifunctional and very comfortable. (Old salescode: 530084)
A modern interpretation of a regency masterpiece, ebonised by hand and finished with exquisite care. This delightful chair is picked out in antiqued silver leaf to accent its wonderful form. Use as pairs in halls or drawing rooms and by the dozen around a large dining table. (Old salescode: 530121-SC-CW)
ItÍs questionable that there is a better country side chair to sit at the head of a rustic table than this superb interpretation of a 19th century Welsh oak chair. Lewellen has been sized for use at the table, hall chair, or desk chair.
This 19th century fruitwood table was owned by my cousin. She used it to serve the most delicious lunches from in her dining room in the county of Wiltshire. Named Marquette as the room had a rather French feel, ñit was a bit like tripping over Paris in the country,î and I still have great feelings of joy when I look at this interpretation of a favourite piece. Marble topped for practicality makes Marquette ideal for everyday purposes.
I'm racing out and getting two of these delightful barley twisted fruitwood marble topped tables for my drawing room! Once again the late regency inspired the classic piece which has been interpreted with such care and thoughtfulness.
This mirror exudes sophistication and elegance, the Leicester is a classically styled mirror shown in a sunwashed mahogany with extraordinary detailed carving. (Old salescode: 530162)
